Sports teams: you can now check the schedule for
permits on Fields 1, 2, and 3 in DeWitt Clinton Park.

By the way, the mens and ladies rooms in DeWitt
Clinton Park will be open until 11 p.m. again this summer. This is one thing that the DeWitt Clinton Park Conservancy has been able to advocate for. Let us know if there are other things that we can help with.

Work on the $3.2 million resurfacing of the softball/baseball field will probably begin after Labor Day, 2007. No more permits will be issued after that date. The ballfields will be resurfaced with field turf. The reason that grass cannot be used is the very heavy use our ballfields get.

Work will begin on construction of an extension for the dog run specifically for small dogs as soon as we have funding commitments. The $20,000 price tag will be split between grant funding (which has yet to be secured) and individual donations from dog-run users.
